ScanMyRide is built on the principle that a vehicle owner's private phone number should never be publicly visible on a vehicle profile.

What we collect

Account details (name, email, mobile), vehicle information (vehicle number, type, brand, model, color), QR usage metadata (scans, dates), and contact requests submitted by scanners.

Why we collect it

To operate the ScanMyRide platform: create your account, generate a QR, route messages, and provide analytics on your dashboard.

How we use it

Personal information is used only to provide the service. We never sell your data. Scanner contact information (if provided) is only shared with the vehicle owner as required by the selected communication method.

Who can access it

You and authorized ScanMyRide administrators. Scanners never see your private phone number.

Data retention

Data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time from your dashboard.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, and contact-preference change. Use Profile → Data Controls or contact support.
